1. Using DueKeeper
By using DueKeeper, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. You may use it for your personal reminders and records in accordance with applicable law and the app store's rules. The current app works without an account and does not give family profiles their own sign-in access.
2. Your information and records
You are responsible for the information you enter, including names, dates, document details, bill amounts, and payment records. You should only add information that you have the right to use. You can edit or remove items in the app. Records marked “paid” are your own records of payments made elsewhere; DueKeeper does not send money, confirm a charge with a bank or merchant, or settle a bill.

3. Reminders and scanned dates
DueKeeper schedules local device notifications when you grant permission. Delivery can be delayed, suppressed, or missed because of device settings, battery restrictions, time-zone changes, software faults, or other factors outside the app's control. You are responsible for checking important deadlines independently.
Document scanning suggests possible dates; it can misread text or choose the wrong date. You must check the original document and confirm the correct date before relying on a reminder. DueKeeper does not verify the legal validity, renewal status, or payment status of any document, bill, or subscription.
4. Backups, device changes, and recovery keys
DueKeeper stores reminders on your device. It offers a manually exported encrypted reminder backup file; automatic cloud backup and account recovery are not available in the current version. You must keep both the backup file and its separate recovery key in safe places. Adorasoft cannot recover a lost key. Saved scan images are not included in the backup and will not appear after a restore on another device.
Before replacing, resetting, or losing a phone, make a current backup and confirm you can find its recovery key. You are responsible for copies you export or share through other services.
5. Cost and advertising
The current version has no paid features, in-app purchases, or DueKeeper subscription fees. It may display advertisements supplied by Google. Ads and third-party destinations are outside Adorasoft's control and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. DueKeeper's bill and subscription reminders are not purchases from Adorasoft.
6. App ownership
Adorasoft and its licensors retain rights in the DueKeeper app, its design, and its software. You retain rights in the information you enter, subject to the rights of any third parties whose information you include. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.
7. Availability and updates
We may update, improve, or discontinue features. We aim to keep DueKeeper useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or support for every device and operating-system version. Changes may require you to install an update.
8. Responsibility and legal limits
DueKeeper is provided as a reminder and record-keeping tool, not as legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Adorasoft does not guarantee that a notification will arrive at a particular time or that a scanned date will be correct. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the app changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms where applicable law permits. For questions, email duekeeper@adorasoft.net or visit Support.
